Prairie Point is located in Shawnee, Kansas in the Westbrook Village Mall. This shop was chosen as one of the top ten shops for the Quilt Sampler Magazine in 2006. The owner, Carol Kirchhoff, has owned the shop for six years and prides herself in offering a wide range of fabric styles from brights to Thimbleberries. Carol and her employees are friendly and anxious to help. With samples changing every two to three months, you will need to go back often to check out what is new. Kits are available throughout the shop to get you started on one of those samples. Local designers Terry Thompson and Barbara Brackman play an active role in this shop. Both offer classes that you can attend. Jeanne Poore and Kathy Delaney are just two more of the local designers that you can find teaching in this shop.
