Peddler's Wagon

SAMPLES, SAMPLES,SAMPLES - that is what you will find when you enter the Peddler's Wagon in historic Parkville, Missouri. Along with the samples are the patterns that are all well organized and easy to find. All of the displayed samples are assigned a letter that you match to alphabetized sections to find the pattern. If you have any trouble finding what you are looking for, Teri Hahs, the owner, or her employee will be happy to help.

This shop will have been open for 26 years on May 1st of this year. That does not seem possible. I have been going to this shop since I started quilting. There is an assortment of fabric in the back. Moda, Andover, Wilmington, Clothworks, Starwood hand-dyed and flannels are a few of the fabrics you will find. Sprinkled throughout the store you will find a wide array of patterns, and books, also a collection of buttons can be found in the front corner.

You will find many patterns in this shop that you can not find anywhere else because they are designed here. Also sold here are beautiful wooden cabinets in which to display your finished quilt.

If this shop does not motivate you to get started on your next project, nothing will.

Parkville has lots of other shops and restaurants, so plan to spend the day. Everything is in walking distance of this quilt shop.

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10-4 Address: 115 Main Street
