Rustic Yearnings Quilt Shop

Rustic Yearnings opened 15 years ago and moved to its new location in May of 2007. It is located in the AppleTree Center at 4621 S. Shank in Independence, Missouri. One major improvement at this new location is a public restroom.

The store has a folk art and primitive emphasis, but with a wide enough selection to please everyone. With a downhome, relaxed, social atmosphere, you are sure to find something you like. Some of the fabrics you will find here are Reproductions, 30's, Batiks, Thimbleberries, and lots of flannels.
You can attend one of their many clubs such as Thimbleberries, Jo Morton, or Darlene Zimmerman or take a class from one of the excellent teachers. The shop has kits you can purchase and lots of samples from which to get ideas. You will find a great selection of Nancy Halverson's Art to Heart books and many other books and patterns.

In this same building you will find a scrapbooking store, an antique store, and a tea room. This shop is easy to find, located just off I-70. Open 7 days a week- check out there web site for more information. http://www.rusticyearnings.com/cyearnings.com
